Our trout are grown to organic standards according to the lastest european regulations, from eggs we harvest and brood hatched here. Our basins catch water directly from the foot of Mount Ciucaș in the ,,Urlătoarea Mare” stream.

Mountain trout have vert tasty and delicate meat, being the most important fish in mountain waters. Properly cooked it becomes a real delicacy. Brook trout, which you can find at the Eco Fish farm, was first brought to Romania in 1906 and lives in the wild only at the top of mountain streams in very clean, cold, clear and well oxygenated water. We pride ourselves on the fact that we can provide the optimal conditions for the development of this special fish, whose extremely healthy meat contains many nutrients essential in a well-balanced diet.

In the following breeding season in addition to Brook trout we will also be introducing Indigenous and Rainbow trout to our stock.
